RUQ

Start at level of xiphoid, mid axillary line, parallel to floor. Then sweep or aim posterior towards bed as needed. Slide transducer up to diaphragm and down to caudal edge of liver.

Spleen/kidney slightly more caudad and posterior than liver/kidney but similar movements to RUQ

Transverse then sweep into pelvis over the pubic symphysis
